HOW TO COOK BUFFALO CHICKEN PIZZA

Ingredients:

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade, enough for 12-inch pizza)

  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great)

  • 1/3 cup buffalo wing sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for extra flavor)

  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)

  • 1/4 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing (for drizzling)

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)

  • Olive oil (for brushing the crust)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.

  2. Prepare the chicken: In a bowl, toss the shredded chicken with the buffalo wing sauce until well coated.

  3. Roll out the dough: On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll the dough to your desired size and thickness (about 12 inches).

  4. Assemble the pizza:

    • Place the dough on a pizza peel or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    • Lightly brush the edges of the crust with olive oil for a nice golden finish.

    • Evenly spread the buffalo chicken over the dough.

    • Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top.

    • Add blue cheese crumbles if using.

  5. Bake: Transfer the pizza to the oven (or onto the pizza stone) and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

  6. Finish and serve:

    • Remove the pizza from the oven.

    • Drizzle ranch or blue cheese dressing over the top.

    • Sprinkle with chopped green onions.

    • Slice and enjoy!
