HOW TO COOK BUFFALO CHICKEN PIZZA
Ingredients:
-
1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade, enough for 12-inch pizza)
-
1 cup cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great)
-
1/3 cup buffalo wing sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
-
1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)
-
1/4 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing (for drizzling)
-
1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
-
Olive oil (for brushing the crust)
Instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
-
Prepare the chicken: In a bowl, toss the shredded chicken with the buffalo wing sauce until well coated.
-
Roll out the dough: On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll the dough to your desired size and thickness (about 12 inches).
-
Assemble the pizza:
-
Place the dough on a pizza peel or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
-
Lightly brush the edges of the crust with olive oil for a nice golden finish.
-
Evenly spread the buffalo chicken over the dough.
-
Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top.
-
Add blue cheese crumbles if using.
-
-
Bake: Transfer the pizza to the oven (or onto the pizza stone) and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
-
Finish and serve:
-
Remove the pizza from the oven.
-
Drizzle ranch or blue cheese dressing over the top.
-
Sprinkle with chopped green onions.
-
Slice and enjoy!
